From just a pitch from Chidera Okeke; the original storyteller of Baba to an award winning film, the story of Babathemovie is a miraculous one.

From the night Chidera went from Nyanya axis of Abuja to Kubwa to see the Co-Writer and Script Developer, Oluwafemi Isaac Akinsipe, Baba is a complete story of Nothing to Something.

Fine Tuning with Partners; Samuel Sanni and Joshua Samuel was another level of work, six story development meeting in total before a script was agreed upon.

Baba is the story of a young girl, 14 (jennifer) who is being abused by her father, a painful norm in parts of Africa.

From Storytelling to Cinematography to Editing and Sound design, Baba is in a class of its own.

Several other screenings in Lagos and Portharcourt have not been added to the long lists of awards.
